Spring, 1978

First Meeting with Johnson County (KS) Board of Realtor' leadership.

Summer, 1979

Johnson County agrees to have RISCO (then EBE) write some programs to handle their MLS needs.

Fall, 1979

First RISCO MLS system installed.

Summer, 1980

RISCO incorporated as Realty Information Systems Company (RISCO). Until this date, RISCO was a division of Electronic Business Equipment, Inc. (EBE). Original ownership consisted of Jerry Cohen, Warren Koeller, and Dunigan Trust (a family Trust located in Abilene, Texas.

Fall, 1981

RISCO entered into an agreement with National Association of Realtors (NAR) whereby NAR sold RISCO MLS system. This agreement lasted for 3 years, ending Fall, 1984.

Winter, 1984

RISCO moved into its first headquarters, merged with BE Leasing, Inc. (computer leasing company) and Garry Wright joined ownership group.

Fall, 1986

RISCO bought out Dunigan Trust's interest, Howard Jacobson and Steve Muehlberger joined ownership group.

Summer, 1987

Formed RISCO Publishing, Inc. and started printing MLS Books.

Spring, 1988

Moved to first Company owned building (10,400 sq. ft.).

Winter, 1994

Realty Information Systems Company and RISCO Publishing merged and named the surviving company "RISCO".

Summer, 1995

Formed RISCO Lockbox, Inc. to sell used and refurbished lockboxes, located in El Paso, Texas.

Spring, 1997

Purchased Compulist Corporation, a competing MLS company located in Macomb, Illinois.

Fall, 1997

Moved RISCO Lockbox and Compulist operations to new Lenexa facility (33,600 sq. ft.).

Spring, 1998

Moved RISCO operations to new (current) facility.

Summer, 1998

RISCO acquires the assets of Multacc corporation and moves the PCR and Redikey lock box systems from Torrance, CA to Lenexa.

Fall, 1998

Signed Alliance Agreement with Yardi, Inc. (a competing MLS Company located in Santa Barbara, California) to convert all their existing MLS customers, at customer's option, to RISCO MLS system.

Winter, 1998

Company Vice Presidents Grant Wright, Tim Harrison, Mark Brown, Richard Jacobson, become RISCO shareholders.

Spring, 2000

Sold all companies to iProperty.com (start up company located in Bloomington/Indianapolis, Indiana). 

May, 2001

Sold RISCO to Fidelity National Financial (The industry's largest provider of title insurance and diversified real estate-related services, located in Irvine, California).  Interlogix acquires the lock box division, with operations remaining at the Lenexa office.  Due to lack of funding RIsco Lock Box loses national distributorship of the Shur Lok.

Feb., 2002

Interlogix is purchased by GE.  Risco Lock
Box continues operations in Lenexa Location.

June, 2006

GE closes Lenexa location and consolidates Risco Lock Box operations with Supra operations in Salem, OR.  Bruce Draper & Jon Koeller continue as home based employees.

June, 2008

Bruce Draper & Jon Koeller are terminated as part of a large cost reduction effort by GE.

October, 2008

Risco Partners begins as a web based business.
